BlackRock announces plans for €578m investment program delivering next generation enterprise data centers across the U.K.

BlackRock, through its European value-added real estate series, has announced plans to commit up to £500 million (€578 million/$681 million) to an investment program delivering next-generation enterprise data centers across the United Kingdom, supporting evolving demands from businesses for high-density compute capabilities. Boosting the United Kingdom’s overall data center capacity, the program will finance the modernization of operational enterprise data centers to better serve blue-chip companies with enhanced hybrid cloud solutions.

Cottonwood Group receives $1b in commitments for U.S. real estate special situations investment strategy

Cottonwood Group, a private equity real estate investment firm with offices in Los Angeles, Boston and New York, has exceeded its original fundraising goal for the Cottonwood Real Estate Special Situations Strategy. The strategy reached the milestone of $1 billion at final closing on August 31, 2025. Commitments received comprise of pooled-fund vehicles and separate accounts.

Two Hulic REIT-owned network centers change hands in Japan

Hulic REIT, a Japanese REIT company investing in offices, retail properties, hotels and other assets, and its management company, have agreed to transfer ownership of two network centers in Tokyo and Nagano to Hulic Co., the parent company of Hulic REIT Management.
