Princeton Digital Group acquires Yahoo’s SG3 data center in Singapore

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has acquired Yahoo’s Singapore data center, SG3.

Yahoo will continue to host its infrastructure at SG3, with PDG investing further to run the data center with industry-leading efficiency as a third-party operator.

The site expands PDG’s footprint in Singapore, adding to the hyperscale data center the company already owns and operates in the country. In addition, this acquisition also enhances PDG’s SG+ ® strategy which entails PDG’s industry-leading portfolio of data center campuses in Singapore, Batam and Johor.

Through this acquisition, PDG adds to its portfolio of more than 20 data centers and 1 Gigawatt capacity, and further reaffirms the company’s commitment to Singapore, where it recently inaugurated its new global headquarters.
