Patron Capital has appointed Gareth Henry to the newly created role of global head of investor relations. This follows the recent close of Patron Capital’s sixth fund, which raised €844 million ($1.038 billion), including approximately €128 million ($157 million) of co-investment capital.
Henry brings nearly 20 years of experience in alternative investment management, most recently at Investcorp in New York City. Prior to this, Henry spent two years as global head of investor relations for Angelo, Gordon & Co., and was previously head of investor relations for Fortress Liquid Markets at Fortress Investment Group. Henry is a qualified actuary and started his career at Towers Watson.
In his role at Patron Capital, Henry will be primarily responsible for converting new investors and relationships for future funds and products, as well as leading client and investor interaction and reporting.
