Kingstone Real Estate launches opportunistic investment division

Kingstone Real Estate has established a new opportunistic investment division known as Kingstone Real Estate Opportunity (KREO).

KREO will invest in properties and real estate companies with substantial value-creation potential. KREO will geographically focus on Germany, as well as on selected metropolitan regions in western and central Europe.

Philipp Schomberg, co-founder and executive partner of Kingstone, has partnered up with Michael Sacher to manage KREO. Sacher, previously at Aermont Capital, joins Kingstone Real Estate as managing partner and co-shareholder of KREO.

At Aermont, Sacher managed the firm’s German business and was responsible for opportunistic real estate investments in direct property and corporate deals, across a variety of asset classes. He began his professional career in the investment banking division of UBS.
