Investcorp has acquired a 1.3 million-square-foot, 31-building multitenant industrial real estate portfolio across two markets in South Florida and Denver for approximately $200 million.
The acquisition expands the firm’s presence in critical Southeast and Western markets and brings its industrial real estate holdings in the United States to approximately $5.1 billion comprising approximately 43 million square feet.
The portfolio is located in two of the nation’s best-performing industrial markets, and the investments are strategically located in desirable infill industrial areas that are convenient to major thoroughfares, strong transportation infrastructure, labor bases and residential neighborhoods. The South Florida industrial portfolio is supported by strong demographic tailwinds that help to drive the success of industrial assets across Florida, including high incomes, a coastal location and extreme barriers to new supply. Denver has also seen significant pop
