Approximately half of the roughly 800 global real estate markets tracked by Hines Research have moved into what the firm considers a potential buying window, as property markets show signs of entering a new recovery cycle, according to a new report from Hines.
In the New Age of Investment Access, Hines said private real estate may be particularly well positioned relative to other private-market asset classes after undergoing a significant repricing since late 2021. The firm pointed to improving values in parts of Europe and Asia and said the current cycle appears to have bottomed out in 2025.
