GLP unveils 850MW data centre business, Ada Infrastructure

by Kali Persall

GLP, a global business builder, developer, owner and operator of logistics real estate, data centres and renewable energy, has launched Ada Infrastructure, a new global data centre business with 850 megawatts of IT capacity across Japan, the United Kingdom and Brazil.

Ada Infrastructure was founded on a commitment to being a positive force for technology, people and the planet, and it will serve the digital infrastructure needs of hyperscale companies and large global enterprises, according to GLP. The new data centre platform has a global pipeline of 1.5 gigawatts of capacity.

Ada Infrastructure will be led by Jennifer Weitzel, a former Microsoft executive, as president. During the past year, she has assembled a team of experts from across the industry to address the rising demand for hyperscale data centres in strategic locations globally. The team will support the rapid growth of cloud services and artificial intelligence safely, securely and sustainably.
