Ares Management’s U.S. and European real estate funds have raised more than $1 billion, according to filings with the SEC.
The firm has raised $556.5 million for its Ares European Real Estate Fund IV. The opportunistic real estate fund has a $1 billion fundraising target.
It continues the European acquisition program of the prior funds by targeting real estate investments that offer the opportunity for attractive risk adjusted returns. Ares will seek to create a portfolio of opportunistic assets, diversified in terms of asset class and geographical spread across Europe.
