Neinver Forms Two JVs in Poland
Neinver SA, a Spanish real estate developer, has formed two joint ventures to own retail properties in Poland, one with Meyer Bergman and the other with Heitman.
The Neinver/Meyer Bergman joint venture is for development of a €200 million mixed-use project in Katowice. The retail-led project will be centred around the city’s main square and includes the redevelopment and renovation of Katowice’s railway and bus station. PKP, the Polish national railway company, will hold a minority stake in the project. The project also includes the development of a 47,500-square-metre shopping centre and 18,000 square metres of mixed-use space.
Neinver has also formed a joint venture with Heitman European Property Partners IV. The venture will own the 54,000-square-metre Galeria Malta Shopping Centre in Poznan. The Heitman fund will own a 75 percent interest in the shopping centre, and Neinver will hold a 25 percent stake. The centre is 97 percent leased and will be managed by N
