Fundraising market holds steady, awaits developments
The largest fund closed recently was by Omni Partners, raising £340 million (€390 million) for Omni Secured Lending Fund III. The value-added real estate fund launched in May 2016. The fund will focus on short-term debt opportunities in the UK commercial and residential real estate markets. LCN Capital Partners held a €309 million final close for its LCN European Fund II. The firm is investing in corporate sale-and-leaseback and build-to-suit investments with leases of 15–25 years. In addition, a final close was held by Bouwfonds Investment Management, raising €100 million for Bouwfonds European Parking Fund IV. Bouwfonds European Parking Fund IV opened in Q1 2017 with a maximum fundraising target of €200 million. The fund will invest in European parking properties that follow core investment strategies.
