AMPERE Gestion raises €906m for residential fund

AMPERE Gestion, a subsidiary of CDC Habitat, the property arm of France’s Caisse des Dépôts, has attracted €906 million to its latest French intermediate housing fund, the largest amount raised in the European residential property sector in 2018.

The Fonds de Logement Intermédiaire 2 (FLI 2) fund has received capital commitments from 15 institutional investors, half whom had already invested in the first version of the fund, FLI 1.

The first round of funding for FL2 will be followed by a second round later this year to increase its capital to €1.2 billion. With a funding target of €2 billion, the social impact fund will finance major developments located in and around the Grand Paris Express project and in major cities outside of Paris.
