Westwind Capital has closed its first investment vehicle with several European institutional investors, including an anchor commitment from CBRE Investment Management.
According to multiple news sources, the fund raised €150 million ($162 million) to fund the acquisition of a portfolio of London living sector properties.
Westwind Capital was formed in 2022 to focus on needs-based and demographically driven real estate in the life sciences and living sectors, including purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA), build-to-rent (BTR) residential, and micro-living and co-living in major U.K. and European markets.
