U.S. industrial leasing activity accelerated during the second quarter as occupiers moved forward with delayed decisions and focused on operational resilience and supply-chain efficiency, according to BKM Capital Partners.
New leasing totaled 175 million square feet in second quarter 2026, the highest quarterly level in three years and 49 percent above second quarter 2025. New leases and renewals remained relatively balanced, reflecting both fresh demand and increased decision making among existing occupiers.
