The Indiana Public Retirement System commits $236m to real estate

The Indiana Public Retirement System (INPRS) has committed $236 million to real estate funds managed by The Carlyle Group and Ambrose.

Carlyle Europe Realty Fund III received €75 million ($86.1 million) for its closed-end, value-added, opportunistic strategy investing in hotel, logistics, multifamily, retail and student housing assets in France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom. Carlyle Europe Realty Fund II, its predecessor, raised €304 million ($348.9 million) in equity.

Ambrose Fund II received $150 million for its closed-end, opportunistic strategy focused on industrial, logistics and ecommerce projects. In an interview with IREI in March, Ambrose CEO Aasif Bade noted that the outlook for industrial fundraising is improving.
