Mall traffic showed resilience in July 2025, with indoor malls leading at 1.3 percent year-over-year growth, while open-air centers and outlets narrowed their performance gaps to near-flat levels, according to Placer.ai., in its July 2025 Mall Index. Meanwhile, open-air shopping centers and outlet malls narrowed their visit gaps, with visits to open-air shopping centers almost on par with July 2024 levels and visits to outlet malls just 2.1 percent lower than this time last year.
