Savills: Alternative assets the big winner in the Nordics

Alternative assets are the big real estate winner across the Nordics with €6.6 billion (8.1 billion) invested during the first three quarters of the year, which is an increase of 69 percent compared to last year and represents the same amount invested into multifamily and logistics, respectively, according to Savills. The international real estate advisor notes that among these alternative assets, care home investment increased by 24 percent compared to first quarter – third quarter last year. In Finland, other public use properties such as educational properties, health care buildings and police stations are also sought after investment targets.
