Recovery in Hong Kong hotel sector to be driven by domestic demand

Recovery in Hong Kong’s hotel sector is expected to be mainly driven by domestic leisure demand in the near term, mainly from staycations, as well as small meetings and events, said JLL. The firm expects the luxury and upper-upscale hotel segments to show more resiliency due to their attractiveness as a staycation destination.
