PATRIZIA appoints new head of investment strategy and research

PATRIZIA AG has appointed Mahdi Mokrane as its new head of investment strategy and research.

Mokrane will join PATRIZIA in due course from LaSalle Investment Management in London, where for the past six years he was head of European research and strategy and a member of its European management board.

Tasked with building on PATRIZIA’s strong, well-established research and strategy skillset for core, value-add and opportunistic investing in European markets, Mokrane will aim to create greater interconnections between the company’s investment solutions in Europe as well as globally through PATRIZIA Multi Manager and with its client offices in North America and Asia-Pacific.

Prior to joining LaSalle, he worked at AEW Europe, where he was head of research and strategy and a member of the company’s European investment committee as well as the global securities allocation committee. He also worked closely and extensively on real estate debt and equity transactio
