Paladin Realty Partners has hired Camilo Otálora as managing director and Colombian country manager.
Otálora will be based in Paladin’s Bogotá office and serve on the region’s investment committee.
Otálora has more than 20 years of real estate investment, finance and development experience in Colombia, Central America and the United States. Prior to joining Paladin Realty, he was a partner at Boston Andes Capital, a private equity real estate investment, asset management and development firm, with offices in Boston, Bogotá and Buenos Aires. Between 2008 and 2012, Otálora was development manager at Terranum, a major Colombian real estate company, where he was in charge of developing commercial and hotel projects in Colombia and Costa Rica. Between 2000 and 2007, Otálora worked with Fernando Mazuera & Cía, where he was responsible for financial planning and cashflow management for a group of companies.
