The $20.85 billion Ohio Police & Fire (OP&F) Pension Fund has made a $50 million initial commitment to Cloud Capital Fund I, representing the pension fund’s debut investment in a dedicated data center fund. Cloud Capital Fund I is the flagship core-plus strategy of global data center investment management firm Cloud Capital. The open-end fund will focus on wholesale data centers in the top data center markets in the United States and Europe.
In September, Cloud Capital completed the final closing of Cloud Capital Fund II, an opportunistic closed-end investment vehicle focused on acquiring and developing high-quality data centers across the United States. Financial terms of the fundraise were not disclosed, however Cloud Capital shared the fund was oversubscribed.
