The Orange County Employees Retirement System (OCERS) has committed $75 million to Blue Owl Real Estate Fund VII.
Blue Owl Real Estate Fund VII, a closed-end, value-added fund, focuses on investing in industrial assets, with a smaller portion allocated to office and retail properties. The strategy buys assets that are on a long-term lease of 15 years, with a minimum requirement of 11 years at the time of purchase. The Virginia Retirement System committed $200 million to this fund earlier in 2026.
The fund’s predecessor, Blue Owl Real Estate Fund VI, closed with nearly $5.1 billion in equity in 2024.
