Nuveen Real Estate’s head of Asia Pacific resigns

Chris Reilly has resigned as head of Asia Pacific at Nuveen Real Estate, the company confirmed.

Nick Evans, head of Australia, has become the interim managing director for Asia Pacific. Evans has been overseeing the firm’s Australian operations since the firm opened an office in Sydney in 2014.

Earlier this year, private equity real estate firm TH Real Estate announced it is has rebranded as Nuveen Real Estate, reflecting its status as the property investment arm of TIAA-controlled investment management giant Nuveen.

The real estate fund manager, which together with Nuveen manages $125 billion in property assets globally, has been increasingly active in Asia in recent years, having made its first investment in Japan in 2016.
