Multifamily and industrial remain the top investment choices by volume. In the second quarter, $136.7 billion was traded in the United States, a 186 percent increase from 2020 levels and ahead of the pre-pandemic, 2016-2019 quarterly average.
Canadian volume increased 84 percent over year-ago figures, with C$8.3 billion ($6.57 billion) traded.
