The Nevada Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) has appointed Lauren Larson as CIO. This move follows Stephen Edmundson’s promotion from CIO to executive director of the retirement system.
After serving as the fund’s deputy investment officer, Larson was the interim CIO until the board’s final appointment.
Nevada PERS, a public pension fund, had $76.1 billion in total assets under management, as of Dec. 31, 2025. As of then, it had a $3.7 billion in real estate assets with a 10 percent real estate allocation target.
