Maria Scherer has joined Blue Vista Capital Management as general counsel.
Scherer is a seasoned legal executive with nearly more than two decades of experience in commercial real estate law and an established track record in providing strategic business and legal advice. She previously served as associate general counsel for Brookfield Properties Retail, where she provided advice and representation for a national portfolio of regional shopping malls and retail properties. She also held positions at DRANE & FREYER, LTD, Ares Management, Wrightwood Capital and DLA Piper.
