London offices see uptick in weekly in-person occupancy rates

After a slow but steady recovery from the pandemic, offices in London are seeing a positive trend in employees returning to work in person. According to Knight Frank, a global property consultancy, 42 percent of the companies surveyed said their employees are working in person four to five days a week. A third of the companies reported employees working in office five days a week, and 20 percent said three days was typical average office attendance.

In addition to office occupation increasing, so are co-working and flexible office portfolios. After polling landlords and operators of flexible offices, 92 percent of the companies surveyed have expanded their flexible office portfolios, in the efforts of improving the quality of working conditions in optimal locations. Clients are prioritizing offices with top-tier amenities, such as roof terraces, in-house baristas and catered food.
