The Los Angeles County Employees Retirement Association (LACERA) has committed $325 million to real estate funds.
IDR ODCE Index Fund, a program of IDR Investment Management, received $125 million. The core, open-end, private equity real estate fund is designed to track the NCREIF Fund Index – Open-end Diversified Core Equity (NFI-ODCE), with the fund mirroring the index’s metrics. As of March 31, the fund had $8.3 billion in total capital raised.
Principal Enhanced Property Fund, a strategy from Principal Asset Management, received $200 for its open-end, core-plus strategy which invests in diversified, high-quality assets in the United States. As of October 2025, the fund had $4.3 billion in total capital raised.
LACERA, a public pension fund, had $90.9 billion in total assets under management, as of March 31. As of Dec. 2025, the pension fund had a 7 percent real estate allocation target, with $4.5 billion in total real estate assets.
