KCERA commits $160m to real estate funds

Kern County (Calif.) Employees Retirement Association (KCERA) has committed $160 million to real estate funds, including strategies managed by Hines, TPG Angelo Gordon and Hudson Bay Capital Management.

Hines Rialto Credit Partners received $40 million and is a closed-end fund investing in high-quality office assets in the United States. It has a fundraising goal of $1.5 billion. The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board committed $500 million to this fund in 2025.

AG Essential Housing Fund IV received $50 million for its closed-end debt fund that invests in multifamily and residential assets in the United States. The fund aims to raise $3 billion in equity.
