JLL: Real estate in post-pandemic Pune

The Indian city Pune attracted institutional investments of ~INR 9,600 crore ($1.31 billion) during 2015–2020, and office assets accounted for 49 percent of these investments, according to JLL in its report titled “Real Estate in Post Pandemic Pune – Opportunities in the making.” Office assets from Pune account for 13 percent of the office portfolio of Embassy Office Park REIT and 17 percent of the office portfolio of Mindspace REIT.

Between 2015 and 2020, foreign institutional investors, mostly private equity funds, dominated the deal volumes in the city, with a 77 percent share of total investments
