How to organize a beta test that drives better outcomes with your operations

In multifamily real estate, technology decisions carry real operational consequences. The wrong platform does not just create inconvenience — it disrupts workflows, frustrates onsite teams and ultimately impacts resident experience and asset performance. Yet despite the stakes, many technology decisions are still made based on polished demos, references or perceived market momentum.

This is where beta testing becomes essential.

A well-structured beta test moves technology evaluation out of the conference room and into the reality of day-to-day operations. It replaces assumptions with evidence and opinions with measurable outcomes. But not all beta tests are created equal. When executed poorly, they become superficial trials that confirm pre-existing biases.
