Harrison Street Asset Management has appointed Michael Humphrey as managing director and co-head of Asia, Investor Solutions Group. In conjunction with the appointment, the firm intends to open an office in Singapore, led by Humphrey, further expanding its footprint in Asia and complementing its existing offices in Tokyo and Seoul.
Humphrey will work closely with Injong Kim, who also serves as co-head of Asia, Investor Solutions Group. Together, they will co-lead Harrison Street’s investor engagement and capital formation activities throughout the region, with Kim leading efforts in Korea and Humphrey leading efforts across other key Asia Pacific markets.
Humphrey joins Harrison Street from StepStone Group, where he served as managing director and head of Asia. Prior to joining StepStone, Humphrey held leadership positions at Courtland Partners and has spent more than two decades working with institutional investors globally.
