GLP has announced the opening of ALDI’s new distribution center at GLP Jiangning Logistics Park in Nanjing, China, marking the third dedicated ALDI facility within GLP’s logistics park network to open in just over 13 months.
The approximately 258,000-square-foot distribution center follows the opening of facilities at GLP Shanghai Neo Northwest Logistics Park and GLP Wuxi Airport Logistics Park. The expansion supports ALDI’s growing store network across Jiangsu and Anhui provinces in East China, build-ing on its presence in Shanghai and the wider Yangtze River Delta.
GLP and GFS, GLP’s cold-chain logistics business, completed modifications to the Nanjing facili-ty within one month. The distribution center includes ambient and temperature-controlled storage, with GFS providing warehousing, cold-chain operations and distribution services on selected routes.
