Global head of ESG Peter Epping leaves Hines

Peter Epping, global head of ESG at Hines, announced that after 23 years he will be leaving Hines.

In a LinkedIn post, Epping stated that a challenging family situation requires him to move back to Europe and take a break from professional life for a time to support his family.

“I’m leaving Hines with a lot of gratitude for the strong partnerships I have been blessed to enjoy throughout the company over the decades — investing in and building great projects, aspiring to make our cities better places, delivering investment performance and collaborating across the firm to build an ambitious global sustainability strategy,” said Epping.

Epping joined Hines in 2001 as an assistant project manager. He was promoted to various positions such as fund analyst, fund manager HECF, fund manager programmatic relationship and more during his time at Hines.
