Kinston, N.C.–based U.S. Farming Realty Trust has raised $195 million for its second fund, U.S. Farming Realty Trust II, to invest in farmland, according to a filing with Securities and Exchange Commission.
The fund launched in 2011 with a $300 million fundraising goal. Property types include row crops, pasture land, dairy farms and permanent crops. The firm pursues acquisition of both domestic and international opportunities.
