EQ Office has hired Merredith Treaster as its senior vice president, Northern California, to be based in San Francisco.
Treaster will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the existing Northern California portfolio totaling 1.4 million square feet across San Francisco, Silicon Valley and San Jose, as well as help shape company strategy in the region. Treaster brings nearly 20 years of experience as a veteran commercial real estate investment professional. She most recently served as a managing director for Nuveen’s U.S. Strategic Lab Vehicle, where she was responsible for overseeing investment opportunities and performance nationally, and previously served as Nuveen’s Northwest regional head of office, overseeing transactions and asset management in the Bay Area, Seattle, Denver and Salt Lake City. She previously worked at Hines, Tishman Speyer and The John Buck Company overseeing acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development and asset repositionings.
