Delancey expands U.K. pension mandate

Delancey has expanded its mandate with one of the United Kingdom’s largest corporate defined benefit pension schemes, adding up to £400 million ($531.1 million) of investment capacity for U.K. real estate, according to BDC Magazine.

The additional value-added commitment brings the mandate to nearly £1 billion ($1.33 billion) and is available for immediate deployment into sector-agnostic U.K. real estate opportunities.

Delancey has managed the pension scheme’s core portfolio since December 2022 and said the mandate has outperformed the MSCI Quarterly Property Index for three years.
