Davis Management enters Silicon Valley with acquisition of high-power San Jose R&D facility

An affiliate of Davis Management Co. has acquired 51 Rio Robles, an approximately 65,000-square-foot research and development (R&D) and advanced manufacturing building located in North San Jose. The building, currently 100 percent leased to a green technology company, features significant power and infrastructure for tenants in advanced technology industries.

The business plan calls for a repositioning of the property, including a new roof, upgraded HVAC and mechanical systems, renovated interior spaces and exterior improvements. With 3,000 amps of 480-volt three-phase power, the building has infrastructure suited to a range of R&D, advanced manufacturing and technology users seeking to operate or expand in Silicon Valley.
