CPP invests $692m in European real estate

The Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP) has committed €600 million ($695 million) to European real estate funds, including Aermont Capital Real Estate Fund VI and Southern European Opportunities III.

Aermont Capital Real Estate Fund VI, managed by Aermont Capital, received €350 million ($405 million) and is a closed-end, opportunistic fund investing in Western Europe. A fundraising target has not been disclosed. The New York State Teachers’ Retirement System (NYSTRS) committed €200 million ($232 million) to the fund earlier in 2026. The fund’s predecessor, Aermont Capital Real Estate Fund V, closed with €3.8 billion ($4.4 billion) in 2022.
