Celine Chiovitti is named chief pension officer at Ontario Employees

Celine Chiovitti has been named the chief pension officer at Ontario Municipal Employees’ Retirement System (OMERS).

Chiovitti has been with OMERS for more than 10 years, having joined as director of stakeholder relations in December 2013. After working in several different roles within the pension fund, Chiovitti has served as the executive vice president and head of pensions since September 2021.

Before OMERS, Chiovitti worked for 14 years for the City of Toronto as a director of pension, payroll & employee benefits and as a manager, benefits & employee services.

Under her leadership at OMERS, the first Inclusion & Diversity Committee was formed within the Pensions group.
