CBRE Investment Management has appointed Chris Burgess as ESG lead for indirect real estate.
Based in London, Burgess will help to implement and deliver CBRE IM’s sustainability vision across the firm’s global indirect investments. He will also drive sustainability best practice throughout the real estate investment lifecycle by working closely with CBRE IM’s investment management teams and managers of its indirect portfolio.
Burgess joins the firm from ESG consultancy EVORA Global, where he developed ESG strategies for international real estate investment companies. He has worked in the sustainability space since 2007.
