Michael Dundon, an experienced superannuation fund executive, has been named CEO of CareSuper, an Australian industry superannuation fund.
Dundon, who previously served as CEO of VicSuper for nearly a decade before its merger with Aware Super, replaces Julie Lander, who in August announced plans to step down from the role after more than 21 years. Linda Scott, chair at CareSuper, said the board undertook an extensive search and was happy to find someone of Dundon’s caliber to lead the fund into its next phase.
Lander, who was named 2022 Fund Executives Association Limited’s fund executive of the year, will remain CEO until Dundon formally joins the fund in March 2023.
