Canada Life Asset Management to develop new student accommodation with the University of the West of England, Bristol

Canada Life Asset Management has received planning permission for the development of a new purpose-built student accommodation development, in partnership with the University of the West of England, Bristol (UWE).  

Located close to UWE’s Frenchay campus, the development will include 330 student bedrooms. Works are due to commence in third quarter 2024. Bowmer and Kirkland has been selected as the main contractor. 

The landmark building is expected to rise from five stories to nine stories in a spiraling pattern, arranged around a central courtyard, which includes student communal and study spaces.
