The Arkansas Public Employees' Retirement System (APERS) has backed TA Realty Value-Add Fund XIII with a $75 million commitment.
TA Realty Value-Add Fund XIII is the latest in TA Realty’s flagship series of value-add funds focused on acquiring industrial, office and multifamily assets, as well as grocery-anchored shopping centers in major U.S. markets.
The previous fund in the series, TA Realty Associates Fund XII, closed with $1.2 billion of total equity commitments in March 2020.
A spokesperson for APERS said the investment builds on a previous partnership with TA Realty. The pension fund has invested in Funds X, XI, and XII.
APERS now has a 13.2-percent allocation to real assets, which includes core/core-plus, noncore, Timber and a REIT Index. The target is 16 percent.
