APAC Institutions to consider DEI metrics in portfolio selection more than U.S., EMEA

Investors today are reacting to a challenging climate of change across many fronts, including rising inflation and interest rates, a spate of damaging weather and climatic events, volatile markets and increased awareness of social inequality, according to Nuveen in its second annual EQuilibrium Global Institutional Study, which surveyed 700 investors and 100 consultants spanning North America, Europe, the Middle East and the Asia Pacific (APAC) region in October and November 2021. All survey respondents were decision makers and represent organizations with at least $500 million in assets.
