ANREV, INREV and PREA release Investment Intentions Survey for 2024

Overall, institutional investors’ allocations for real estate remain stable globally, according to the 2024 Investment Intentions Survey published by ANREV, INREV and PREA. With a narrow gap of 20 basis points between current (10.6 percent) and target (10.4 percent) allocations to real estate, the real estate-asset class retains high relevance for institutional capital during the coming year.

Approximately half (45 percent) of institutional investors expect their allocation to real estate to remain unchanged during the next two years, 25 percent expect their allocation to increase and 31 percent expect a decrease. This reveals relative stability in real estate allocations with real estate-allocation headroom from Asia Pacific investors.
