Alterra IOS has acquired five industrial outdoor storage (IOS) properties in the Atlanta metropolitan area. Collectively, the new properties comprise 32 usable acres and more than 145,700 square feet of accompanying warehouse space, bringing Alterra’s total portfolio across the area to 28 properties spanning 190 usable acres.
Each site is located within key industrial submarkets with convenient access to major highways and transportation networks. The newly acquired properties are occupied by a variety of national and regional tenants across the building materials, equipment rental and logistics industries. The transactions strengthen Alterra’s presence in a leading industrial and logistics corridor while advancing the firm’s long-term strategy of acquiring mission-critical IOS properties near infrastructure that powers freight movement, equipment storage, fleet parking and last-mile operations.
