Alliant Capital raises $92m for affordable housing fund

Alliant Capital has raised notable capital for affordable multifamily housing in the United States. Alliant said the closing of Fund 102, with $92 million in capital, bumped the firm to the $8 billion mark.

The capital will facilitate the creation of eight properties with more than 870 affordable housing units in five states and the District of Columbia.

“The recorded rise in homelessness and rent-burdened households, magnified by the coronavirus pandemic, demonstrates just how important low-income housing programs are across all communities,” said Dudley Benoit, executive vice president of Alliant.

Alliant Capital has raised a total of $8 billion in equity over its history, which is used to create more than 1,000 affordable housing properties for an estimated 400,000 low-income families, seniors and veterans throughout the United States.
