Ares Real Estate, a subsidiary of Ares Management Corp., has established a European logistics investment partnership with Norges Bank Investment Management (NBIM). NBIM has made an equity commitment of €1.5 billion ($1.68 billion).
The transaction marks the first collaboration between Ares and NBIM. Ares will target logistics investment opportunities across Europe, focusing on modern, high-quality assets serving evolving supply-chain, distribution and ecommerce needs. The strategy will leverage Ares’ integrated logistics operating platform, Marq Logistics, which manages a global portfolio of more than 2,250 properties totaling more than 655 million square feet.
