Harrison Street announces $230m public-private partnership with University of San Diego to build student housing development

Harrison Street Asset Management and The Michaels Organization have formed a public-private partnership agreement (PPP) with the University of San Diego (USD) to build the Presidio Terrace Apartments, a planned $230 million, 321-unit, 700-bed on-campus student housing development. The investment represents the first transaction completed through Harrison Street’s dedicated public-private partnership strategy, as well as USD’s first-ever PPP agreement. Including this transaction, Harrison Street has surpassed $6 billion in PPP assets under management, solidifying its position as a leading PPP solution provider to the higher education, healthcare and government sectors.
