GARBE Industrial, a specialist in logistics and industrial real estate, has partnered with Fortress Real Estate Investments, one of the largest real estate companies in South Africa.
The companies signed their first joint venture for the development of a 61,000-square-meter (656,598-square-foot) logistics center in Bucharest.
The first land acquisition under this joint venture was signed in December 2025 for a plot in the northwest part of Bucharest to allow fast connections to all areas of Bucharest and key main transport corridors. Construction work is scheduled to start by the end of this summer, and the first tenant is expected to occupy the premises at the beginning of 2027.
